An accident in Bihar’s Patna City triggered widespread protests on Friday after a youth was allegedly killed by a speeding bus near Zero Mile, leading to violent demonstrations, arson and clashes with police.
The incident occurred near the Pahari Pump House under the Agam Kuan police station limits. According to police, the victim, identified as Manish Kumar, died on the spot after being struck by the bus. The driver allegedly fled the scene immediately after the accident, reported IANS.
