Anupamaa star Rupali Ganguly‘s personal life has been in the news since a long time. She is married to Ashwin Verma and they have son, Rudransh Verma. However, for the past few months, we have been hearing a lot about her stepdaughter Esha Verma. For the unversed, she is Ashwin Verma and his second wife’s daughter. Esha made several serious allegations against Rupali on her Instagram handle. She had accused Rupali of breaking her parents’ marriage and giving strange medicines to Ashwin. She said that Rupali even stole her mother’s jewellery and abused her. She also shared that Rupali did not allow her to speak to her father, Ashwin.
Esha further added that Ashwin and Rupali bullied her. She even went on to say that Rudransh is Rupali and Ashwin’s illegitimate child. This left Rupali fuming and hence she field a Rs 50 crore defamation case against Esha. Sana Raees Khan is her lawyer who revealed that Esha cannot post anything false against Rupali on social media until the case is going on.
Esha calls Rupal ‘Evil step lady’
Esha had also turned her Instagram account private. But now, she has made it public again. Esha remained silent and didn’t say anything about Rupali for many days but now, she has resurfaced with new accusations against Rupali Ganguly and called her ‘Evil step lady’. She called the Anupamaa star evil for scheduling the next court date on her birthday.
Esha did not mention the actress’ name on her post but accused her of violating social media policies and monitoring her Instagram account. Esha wrote, “ty to the evil step lady for scheduling the next court date on my bday muah:* So generous, oh & hi thanks for monitoring me & violating social media policies for the last 4 months.”

Rupali has not reacted to these allegations much but said in interviews that some things did affect her deeply.
