Dharmendra was discharged from Breach Candy Hospital last week and is now steadily recovering at home, surrounded by his loved ones. Yesterday, veteran actor and close friend Shatrughan Sinha, along with his wife Poonam, visited Dharmendra’s wife Hema Malini to check on the legendary actor. Later, Shatrughan shared an update on his X account, calling Dharmendra “one of the finest human beings.” This isn’t the first time the public has witnessed their close bond. Over the years, Shatrughan Sinha has consistently expressed his deep admiration for Dharmendra.

On one memorable occasion, both legends appeared together on The Kapil Sharma Show. Shatrughan revealed that when he was shooting for his very first dance number, the now-iconic song Shor Mach Gaya Shor, he was extremely nervous. Seeking guidance, he reached out to Dharmendra, whose career included several great dance performances. He recalled: “My first song was to be shot publicly. It was ‘Shor Mach Gaya Shor,’ and I was very nervous. I had never danced in front of an audience before, and when the shooting started, thousands had gathered. So, I didn’t know what to do. I went to our elder brother Dharmendra and said, ‘Please tell me how to do this. I can’t do it. How did you perform your own song Rafta Rafta?’”
