Vicky Kaushal shares new photos
Vicky Kaushal is currently busy promoting his upcoming periodical drama Chhaava. The film has been getting an overwhelming response ahead of its release. Well, recently the actor was in Aurangabad promoting the film. He also shared the photos on social media which went viral.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Vicky Kaushal wrote, “जय भवानी । जय शिवराय । #ChhaavaOnFeb14.” In the photos, he was seen engaging with his fans. He has performed aarti in the temple. In a recent interview, the actor talked about the controversy surrounding the movie and shared that even though the lezim dance was aimed at promoting Maharashtrian culture globally, it has now been deleted because Sambhaji Maharaj’s followers felt it was “a bit off”.

For the unversed, Maharashtra minister Uday Samant previously expressed disappointment with Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava. He raised objections to a scene where Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj was shown dancing and said that it should be removed.
“If they raise objections, we will not let it be released,” Samant said while speaking to the media and then threatened the block the film’s release. “The movie shows Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj dancing. The director should cut this part. This movie should be shown to historians and scholars. If they raise objections, we will not let it be released,” he added.
Later, the makers accepted the request the deleted the scene. The film’s director Laxman Uttekar met Maharashtra Navnirman Sena leader Raj Thackeray and assured that all objectionable scenes from the Vicky Kaushal starrer will be removed before its release.
Chhaava is a historical drama that revolves around the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. In the film, Vicky Kaushal is set to portray the character of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the eldest son of the Maratha empire’s founder. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta in key roles.
