A tragic trekking accident at Lohagad Fort near Lonavala has turned into a chilling murder case. Pune Rural Police have arrested the deceased’s fiancée, Siya Goyal, and her lover, Chetan Chaudhary, who allegedly conspired to kill 24-year-old Ketan Agrawal, son of a prominent Pune businessman.
Pushed into gorge
The incident occurred on June 18 when Ketan and Siya went trekking, a day before her birthday celebrations with family. Ketan was found dead after falling nearly 400 feet into a deep gorge. Initially, Lonavala Rural Police registered an accidental death report.
