Women’s HIL Highlights: The Odisha Warriors climbed to the top of the table with a 4-1 win over the Rarh Bengal Tigers in the 2024-25 Women’s Hockey India League at the Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium in Rourkela on Sunday.
Michelle Fillet opened the scoring for the Warriors early in the second quarter before Yibbi Jansen doubled their lead just minutes later.
The Tigers pulled one back, thanks to Udita’s drag flick towards the end of the first half. However, the Warriors killed off the match in the fourth quarter with Jansen scoring her second and captain Neha Goyal also piling on the Tigers’ misery.
