MIDC Dombivli Blast, Maharashtra News Today: Nine fatalities and left approximately 60 individuals injured in boiler explosion occurred at Amudan Chemicals Pvt Ltd. in the Dombivli MIDC area of Thane district, Maharashtra, on Thursday afternoon. On Friday morning, rescue teams recovered three more bodies from the site, with a few people still reported missing. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) continues its rescue operations.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, the Maharashtra State Council for Educational Research and Training (SCERT) released a draft of the State Curriculum Framework (SCF) for School Education, covering classes 3 to 12. Under this new framework, English will be classified as a “foreign language” and will no longer be mandatory at the Junior College level (classes 11 and 12), marking a significant shift from Maharashtra’s longstanding educational practices.
