On Day 10 of the 38th National Games, Indian athletes compete for honours in various sports.
While there are several handball and hockey pool matches on Friday, the day’s biggest attraction will be the men’s football gold medal match, with host Uttarakhand taking on Kerala in the final.
Besides these two sports, there were plenty of medal rounds and actions to follow in boxing, archery, lawn ball, shooting, cycling, rowing, taekwondo and tennis. In the meantime, netball gets underway today.
On Thursday, Services toppled Karnataka from the pole position by winning a gold medal more than the latter. So far, Services and Karnataka have won 56 medals each, but in terms of gold medals, Services won 31 as compared to 30 by Karnataka.
